Dr. Kurt Erickson grew up in Fairmont, Minnesota and is a graduate from Fairmont High School. He completed his undergraduate education at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2010. To earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, Dr. Erickson attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Upon graduating dental school, Dr. Erickson furthered his professional training and completed a yearlong AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) Residency Program at the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium in Sitka, Alaska. During this time, he received advanced training from specialists in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics while having the opportunity to serve rural areas of Alaska, often traveling by bush plane.

Dr. Erickson joined Fountain Lake Family Dental in 2020. Prior to joining Fountain Lake, he spent six years in private practice in his hometown of Fairmont, MN. He also is partner with Dr. Seth Huiras at Montgomery Family Dental in Montgomery, MN and travels there to treat patients once per week. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Southern District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Erickson welcomes new patients of all ages and is excited to be serving the Albert Lea community and surrounding areas.

Dr. Erickson and his wife reside in Owatonna, MN with their three lovely children. He is a huge sports fan and loves cheering on his favorite Minnesota teams in his free time. (Go Vikings!) Dr. Erickson looks forward to meeting you, your family, and caring for your dental needs.

Dr. Seth Huiras grew up near Random Lake, WI, a small farming community near Sheboygan, WI. He then moved to Northfield, MN where he attended St. Olaf College. He graduated with a degree in chemistry and a concentration in statistics. Dr. Huiras developed his dental skills at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, before then, he was a dental technician at Certified Dental Ceramics in Rosemount, MN.

While at dental school, Dr. Huiras completed externships at the Hibbing Community Dental Clinic, the Willmar Regional Dental Clinic, and the Native American Community Clinic of Minneapolis. Dr. Huiras was a member of the American Student Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and served as the President of the Hispanic Student Dental Association his senior year. While in dental school, Dr. Huiras was selected for the Pediatric Dental Honors course, which also taught him lifelong skills in kids dentistry.

After graduating from dental school with a Distinguished Service Award, Dr. Huiras began practicing dentistry in a family practice located in southeastern Wisconsin. During his time spent in general practice, Dr. Huiras developed a passion for working in pediatrics, endodontics, prosthodontics, dental implants, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Huiras was a part of the Summit Study Club in Milwaukee, WI, where he learned how to achieve positive, aesthetic results restoring implants. He is now a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, Zimmer Biomet Implant Continuing Education, the Smile Source, and the Spear Institute for Continuing Education. Dr. Huiras currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the MDA representing the Southern District Dental Society. Most recently, Dr. Huiras and Dr. Erickson have been studying together on a monthly basis in their Spear study club with approximately 10 other dentists and specialists in Northfield, MN. Additionally, they have also started working with the Smile Source CEO Group for dental small business owners.

Dr. Huiras enjoys the Montgomery and Albert Lea communities and their surrounding areas. He welcomes new patients of all ages and enjoys working with the Montgomery Family Dental and Fountain Lake Family Dental teams. He practices general dentistry including basic fillings and bonding, placement of implants, root canal treatments, crown/veneer and bridge work, treatments for temporomandibular joint disorders, and pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Zach Lindquist grew up in Clear Lake, IA. He attended the University of Iowa where he got his B.S. in Health and Human Physiology. After graduation he decided to stay in Iowa City to obtain his DDS degree. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2017 and moved to Colorado to begin his career in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Dr. Zach spent 5 years in private practice in the Denver area before moving back home where he’s spent the past year working at a Community Health Center in Mason City, IA.

Dr. Zach and his wife, Paige, love spending their free time outdoors with their two dogs Murphy and Coco. Whether it be skiing, hiking, camping, or just lazily floating on the lake, Zach and Paige are always looking for an excuse to get out into nature.
